GeriatiVet is a preparation for elderly dogs (from 5 years of age) of large breeds (from 15kg), which due to their age have an increased need for substances that can protect them from the most common health disorders.

Glucosamine helps to reduce degenerative changes in the joints of older dogs suffering from osteoarthritis.
Supports the maintenance of normal urinary tract epithelium, thereby reducing the incidence of chronic urinary tract infections.
-1,3/1,6-glucan is recognised by the immune system and causes its activation. As a result, the body is better equipped to fight potential threats, i.e. viral or bacterial infections.
L-carnitine is essential for the proper functioning of the heart muscle, which is particularly important in older dogs at risk of cardiomyopathy. It accelerates the burning of fat in the cells.
Lutein can enhance immunity in dogs by stimulating both cellular and humoral immune mechanisms. In addition, it protects the retina from degeneration and thus improves vision.
HMB protects skeletal muscle cells from breakdown and facilitates the maintenance of muscle mass in older animals that may be at risk of skeletal muscle atrophy due to their age. It supports the process of protein synthesis in skeletal muscles and helps protect the animal against muscle wasting, whatever the cause.
Omega-3 fatty acids protect the cells of the nervous system from damage and ensure their proper functioning. They have anti-inflammatory and anti-oedema effects. In older dogs, they may reduce glomerular pressure (protective effect on the kidneys) and have an anti-arrhythmic effect.
Alpha-lipoic acid protects cells of the nervous system from the harmful effects of free radical reactions and from damage.
