Zylkene First aid in stressful situations for dogs and cats weighing 15-60 kg.

Zylkene contains alpha-casozepine, a natural biologically active peptide derived from milk. Alpha-casozepine is known to induce a state of relaxation in infants fed with breast milk.

Zylkene is recommended for use in dogs and cats reacting with excessive fear or anxiety.

Zylkene capsules contain a powder with a milky taste that is appetising to dogs and cats. The capsule can be administered whole or opened and its contents mixed with food, a treat or liquid. It should be administered once daily. Water should be available at all times.

The duration of administration depends on the individual sensitivity of the animal - the intensity of the fear response.
In severe cases such as hypersensitivity to sounds, in separation problems, combined use of Zylkene with behavioural therapy may be necessary or even require psychopharmacology.

Short-term: start 1-2 days before the anticipated event, some animals may require earlier administration (5-7 days).

Long-term: initially for 1-2 months, it is recommended to evaluate the effect of Zylkene before extending the use.
