Indications:
Part of the treatment of feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC).
Part of the treatment of bacterial urinary tract infections.
Dissolution and prevention of crystal and struvite stone formation.
Prevention of crystal formation in urine.
Contraindications:
Do not use urine acidifying substances.
Chronic renal failure.
Heart disease.
Contains sodium, which forces greater water intake, promotes diuresis and relieves bladder inflammation and pain. Methionine acidifies the urine and helps dissolve struvites, while omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants have an anti-inflammatory effect on the urinary tract. Contains high levels of stress-reducing L-tryptophan. Grain-free formula to help maintain a healthy weight and prevent obesity.
Feed for 5 to 12 weeks to dissolve struvites. Regularly check urinary pH level (appropriate 6.2-6.4) and kidney function in ageing cats.
Feed depending on the results of urinalysis for up to 6 months to prevent re-sedimentation of struvites. Check the urine pH level regularly (appropriate 6.2-6.4).
