- Complete wet food for adult dogs of all breeds with liver disorders. Pack of 400g.
Dolina Noteci 4Vets Hepatic for Dogs 400g - Product Description
4vets Hepatic veterinary diet is a complete specialised food for adult dogs of all breeds suffering from liver failure and other liver disorders. The limited supply of high-quality protein has a beneficial effect on liver function and hepatocyte regeneration and prevents atrophy of muscle tissue. Highly digestible dietary carbohydrates provide a non-protein energy source whose metabolism does not lead to the formation of toxic products of protein metabolism.

Additional information
The basic dietary management for both acute and chronic liver failure is an easily digestible diet with fat restriction. The diet should contain an adequate amount of protein with a high digestibility factor. Ensuring an adequate amount of nutrients will maintain a high nutritional status of the body. It is also important to increase the frequency of the diet, but in smaller portions. Because of the natural tendency for copper to accumulate in the metabolically inefficient liver, the liver diet should be deficient in this element.
