The most common terrestrial turtles found in terraria are the Greek tortoise (Testudo hermanni), the Mediterranean tortoise (Testudo graeca), the fringed tortoise (Testudo marginata) and the steppe tortoise (Testudo horsfieldii). The diet of these species is dominated by plant-based ingredients - especially grasses, herbs and flowers. Especially for this group, we have prepared Biorept L - a multi-ingredient food in the form of sticks for daily feeding. The right composition of selected natural raw materials of plant origin covers the nutritional requirements of herbivorous turtles.

Dosage

1-2 times per day. Remove uneaten food from the feeder.

Its composition is based on grasses, including meadow thyme, which makes the food very palatable. The addition of dandelion herb, plantain and marigold flowers provides valuable nutrients and an attractive aroma. The excellent taste and aroma of the sticks makes them very eagerly eaten by the animals. The reduced protein level with increased dietary fibre ensures healthy, balanced development of the turtle's skeleton and proper shell formation. The correct calcium:phosphorus ratio (2:1), the content of vitamins, micro- and macroelements prevents the development of rickets.
