One of the most popular biotopes in South America is black waters, which are home to such popular fish as rockfish, fingerlings, cichlids and neon. Black waters are characterised by low pH and hardness and a brownish-yellow colouration due to the presence of tannins and humic acids. In clear waters, where the pH and hardness are also quite low, but there is no water colouration, you will find, among other species, fingerlings, cichlids, earthworms, armyworms, cuirasses and many species of bite fish. Central American waters, on the other hand, are inhabited by egg-laying fish, among others. This is where the ancestors of the popular breeding forms of guppies, mollies, swordtails and platies originated.

The innovative granulated foods for aquarium fish from the Soft Line are readily eaten and more easily assimilated by the fish. The high hydrostability of these foods means that they retain their shape in the water and their swelling is kept to a minimum. The high hydrostability of the food reduces the nutrient dispersion into the aquarium water and does not cloud it.

The pellets consist of herring, whose protein has an excellent amino acid profile, crustaceans rich in unsaturated fatty acids and chitin, several species of algae and the insect larvae Hermetia illucens providing a high energy dose. In addition, the soft granules of the Soft Line increase the immunity of the fish thanks to ingredients such as the natural immunostimulator beta-glucan, garlic, prebiotics from algae and vitamin C. The Soft Line foods also include the interesting planktonic crustacean calanus (Calanus finmarchicus). It is a source of astaxanthin, protein rich in essential amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3. Thanks to its soft texture and the wealth of ingredients used, the Soft Line foods allow fish to be fed in a way that is close to natural, while providing the aquarist with feeding comfort.
