A well-balanced basic mix for guinea pigs, in which the amount of grains has been reduced in favor of various types of granules and vitaminized extrudates, whose diversity ensures access to a wide range of nutrients. In addition, the mix is enriched with vegetables (carrots, beets, parsnips, celery, dill) and fruits rich in vitamin C to ensure its adequate amount in the daily diet of guinea pigs. Currants provide vitamins C, K, P, and microelements: boron and iodine, organic acids, and pectins. Dietary celery cleanses the body of toxins, has anti-inflammatory properties, improves heart function, and is rich in antioxidants, namely vitamins C and E. The varied composition makes the food eagerly consumed by animals.
