The product turns the pond water blue by limiting the penetration of sunlight into the water. In this way, it effectively inhibits the mass growth of unwanted algae, including those responsible for the formation of so-called 'green water', which reduce the transparency of the water and worsen the living conditions of fish and plants in the pond. At the same time, Blue Guard Pond does not restrict the photosynthesis of other aquatic plants. The blue colouring of the water caused by Blue Guard Pond emphasises the beautiful colours of koi carp and other ornamental fish living in garden ponds.
