Ketapang Extract is an extract of sea almond (Terminalia catappa) leaves for the preparation of water facilitating the breeding of ornamental fish and shrimps. It introduces natural tannins and humic acids into the water, so that its parameters are close to the natural biotope of fish living in black waters. The preventive properties of sea almond leaves have been used in natural medicine for centuries. Asian ornamental fish breeders use sea almond leaves to protect the eggs, resulting in significantly improved hatching and hatchling survival rates. In aquaria where leaves are used, skin problems occur sporadically in fish. Fish rubbing against aquarium equipment and decoration is also rarely observed. Furthermore, a decrease in the number of fish diseases caused by microorganisms has been observed. Fish and shrimps in water with ketapang leaf extract are more beautifully coloured, have better condition and are more eager to reproduce.

10 ml / 50 l of water or until the desired water colour is obtained. Use after each partial and complete water change, after fish transport and during the adaptation period in the new aquarium, when abrasions and injuries may occur. Can be used simultaneously with Torfin Complex, Querex and Blacklarin. Ketapang Extract does not work in hard water. It does not destroy beneficial filter bacteria.
