The tannins and humic compounds contained in Querex slightly acidify the water, reduce its hardness and give it its characteristic golden colour. In addition, they naturally reduce the growth of fungi and bacteria in the aquarium, reducing the likelihood of dangerous fish infections. Only in such conditions do blackwater fish fully colour, spawn and maintain excellent condition and health. We recommend the use of Querex in aquaria with pallets, scalar fish, South American cichlids, bite-sized fish, barbels, gilthead shrimps, etc. Querex can be used together with Trofin Complex for a stronger effect.

Use after each partial and complete water change, after fish transport and during the period of adaptation in the new aquarium, when abrasions and injuries may occur. Can be used simultaneously with Torfin Complex, Ketapang Extract and Blacklarin. Querex does not work in hard water. Use in soft and slightly acidic water. Does not destroy beneficial filter bacteria.
