Tropical Aqua Care aquarium preparations facilitate the setup and maintenance of aquariums. They are a source of microelements necessary for the proper functioning of fish organisms, as well as nutrients for aquatic plants, ensuring their lush growth and healthy appearance. An important group of preparations are agents for treating and preparing tap water for aquarium purposes. This is important because most aquarists use tap water disinfected with chlorine or its compounds, which are toxic to fish. Such water requires special treatment to make it safe for aquarium inhabitants.

Aquacid pH Minus is designed to lower the pH of water in general and breeding aquariums. Acidic water is typical for many biotopes inhabited by popular aquarium fish, such as discus, angelfish, South American cichlids, characins, etc. Maintaining a low pH level in the water is essential for many fish species, as it keeps them in good condition and health, enhances their colors, and promotes spawning and egg hatching. Aquacid pH Minus does not contain phosphoric acid, which can cause massive algae growth in the aquarium. When dosing the preparation directly into the aquarium, we recommend constant monitoring of the water pH using an aquarium test - the pH change within 24 hours should not exceed 0.2-0.3 pH. However, the safest solution is to prepare the water for replacement outside the aquarium and then gradually replace it in the aquarium tank.

Does not contain phosphoric acid.
Add the preparation gradually to an aquarium inhabited by animals, constantly stirring the water using a filter and checking the pH of the water with a test. A safe change in water pH for fish is no more than 0.2-0.3 pH per day. Do not exceed this value. For the safety of the aquarium inhabitants, we recommend dosing the preparation into the water intended for replacement (do not apply it directly to the aquarium). Aquacid pH Minus can be used simultaneously with Torfin Complex, Querex, and Ketapang Extract preparations.
Warning! Do not use simultaneously with other aquarium preparations (except those mentioned above). Use other agents after a minimum of 24 hours.
