Complementary food for adult dogs made from rabbit meat. Perfectly influences the metabolic changes in the body of our pets.
Trovet MRT food is a complete and balanced food adjusted with nutrient levels to prevent and alleviate metabolic changes caused by heart or liver failure and in cases of food intolerance and allergy.
Trovet MRT food has reduced levels of phosphorus, protein and sodium to reduce hyperphosphatemia and azotemia and control heart failure, hypertension and ascites.
High-quality rabbit meat protein ensures coverage of the minimum daily requirement of amino acids and maintenance of proper kidney function.
Increased levels of B vitamins inhibit the development of disease and contribute to the alleviation of disease symptoms.
The addition of substances to raise urinary pH counteracts metabolic acidosis and prevents the development of oxalate stones in the urinary tract.
The correct ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 fatty acids normalises the pressure in the glomerular capillaries.
The use of rabbit meat also allows the treat to be used in animals prone to food allergies.
Based on current analyses, the dietary MRT values were revised. This has resulted in changes to the indications and so both products are now more clearly targeted at specific conditions. This has resulted in a split between renal failure and struvite stones.
