Tropical Soft Line Africa Herbivore S 250ml - Product description
Soft Line Africa Herbivore S soft food in the form of sinking chips for herbivorous and omnivorous African fish. African herbivorous fish are mainly trophus from Lake Tanganyika and many species included in the mbuna group from Lake Malawi. The term mbuna can be translated as 'stone-biting fish', which perfectly describes the foraging behaviour of these fish. In general, mbuna cichlids are described as herbivorous fish, but this is a gross oversimplification. In reality, the diet of these cichlids is very varied and, when deciding to keep them in an aquarium, it is important to check carefully what the food preferences of the species are.

Additional information
The innovative granulated foods for aquarium fish from the Soft Line are readily eaten and more easily assimilated by the fish. The high hydrostability of these foods means that they retain their shape in the water and their swelling is kept to a minimum. The high hydrostability of the food reduces the nutrient dispersion into the aquarium water and does not cloud it.
The granules include herring, whose protein has an excellent amino acid profile, crustaceans rich in unsaturated fatty acids and chitin, several species of algae, and Hermetia illucens insect larvae providing a high dose of energy. In addition, Soft Line granules increase the immunity of the fish thanks to ingredients such as the natural immune stimulator beta-glucan, garlic, prebiotics from algae and vitamin C. The Soft Line foods also include the interesting planktonic crustacean calanus (Calanus finmarchicus). It is a source of astaxanthin, protein rich in essential amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3. Thanks to its soft texture and the wealth of ingredients used, the Soft Line foods allow fish to be fed in a way that is close to natural, while providing the aquarist with feeding comfort.
