Arthrovet HA 90 Tablets – Joint Support for Dogs and Cats
The innovative formula of Arthrovet HA was developed for dogs and cats with joint cartilage and joint abnormalities. The product also supports the balanced growth of young animals. The formula is based on chemical compounds whose positive effects on joints have been scientifically proven. Glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin sulfate, and sodium hyaluronate improve cartilage elasticity and significantly reduce pain in your dog. Vitamin C supports the formation of extracellular matrix proteins in joint cartilage, thus improving the functioning of animals affected by degenerative disease. Even if your pet does not exhibit joint problems, it is recommended to provide half a daily dose as a preventative measure. This provides more effective protection for weight-bearing limbs and prevents injuries. The easy-to-use tablets are packaged in a handy container that ensures accurate and hygienic dosing.
INDICATIONS
ArthroVet HA is a supportive product designed for dogs and cats with impaired joint cartilage and joint function. Recommended for both young animals during periods of rapid growth and older animals with osteoarthritis.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
The mechanism of action of ArthroVet HA supplementary food is based on the effects of its individual ingredients, as described in the scientific literature:
The preparation contains three main components of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) found in the extracellular matrix of joint cartilage: glucosamine, chondroitin (as sulfate), and hyaluronic acid. Increasing their intake in the animal's diet can improve the synthesis of endogenous GAGs (glucosamine) and increase the water content of joint cartilage (chondroitin and hyaluronic acid), which improves its elasticity. The beneficial effects of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate in dogs with osteoarthritis were confirmed in a randomized, double-blind clinical trial conducted by McCarthy et al. (2007). In these studies, dogs receiving glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate demonstrated clinically significant improvements in pain scores, limb loading, and disease progression. ArthroVet HA is also one of the first products on the market to contain hyaluronic acid, which is absorbed after oral administration (Balogh et al., 2008), and the use of a mixture of glucosamine, chondroitin, and hyaluronic acid provides greater efficacy than a product containing only glucosamine and chondroitin in the treatment of patients with degenerative changes in the knee joint (Bucci et al., 2005). Vitamin C supports the production of extracellular matrix proteins in joint cartilage and acts as a coenzyme in collagen synthesis. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is a coenzyme for prolyl and lysyl hydroxylases, enzymes crucial for collagen synthesis. In vitro studies have shown that ascorbate and ascorbic acid increased protein and proteoglycan synthesis by chondrocytes in joint cartilage (Ameye and Chee, 2006). Therefore, ArthtoVet HA supplementary food contains active ingredients with scientifically documented mechanisms of joint support in patients with osteoarthritis.
