VET PROTECTOR PRO EARS - START is a preparation used for preliminary cleaning of heavily soiled ear canals of dogs and cats in order to prepare the ears for further treatment. The product also moisturises, has a keratolytic effect, restores the correct pH in the external ear canal and has an anti-pruritic effect.
Vet Protector Ears - Start is used in cases of inflammation of the external auditory canal. The product is used to clean the ear once (not more than twice a week).
Do not use in case of ear surgery, trauma or perforation of the eardrum.

- Composition: urea hydroperoxide, propylene glycol, glycerine, salicylic acid, polidocanol, water.

JM SANTE Polisept Vet Protector Pro Ears-Start 30ml - Directions for use
- After assessing the degree of lesion/contamination in the ear, introduce the product into the ear canal in an amount of 5 to a maximum of 10 drops.
- Prevent the product from being shaken out of the ear for about 2-3 minutes (e.g. by using cotton wool or a tampon).
- During this time the animal may experience discomfort due to the active substances.
- After 2-3 minutes, ensure drainage of fluid from the ear canal, then flush the ear with warm water or saline.
- Dry the ear canal and the auricle.
- The manufacturer does not limit the age of the animal.

Ear diseases can be caused by:
Bacteria, fungi and parasites (as a result of infections, progressive pathological changes of the external auditory canal [constriction, glandular proliferation, swelling, surface corrugation, fibrosis, calcification, pathological growths] and otitis media are observed).
Allergy (frostbite, atopic, food-borne, drug-borne - characteristic symptoms are proliferative skin changes, crusting, erythema or exudation).
Endocrine disorders (inflammation can be caused by hypothyroidism, through lymphocytic inflammation of this organ).
Autoimmunity (infections caused by an impaired defence mechanism of the ear skin).
Trauma and others (foreign body/irritant, hair, polyps, tumours).
