Additional Information
Gel Formula For Omnivorous Fish contains algae (8.5%), including Spirulina platensis, Chlorella vulgaris, Ascophyllum nodosum, and Laminaria digitata (known as kelp), as well as krill (3%), garlic, red pepper extract, and fruit. The unsaturated fatty acids and protein (rich in essential amino acids) contained in spirulina and chlorella, as well as the vitamins, macro- and microelements from kelp algae (including iodine, chromium, selenium, and iron) ensure excellent condition, intensive growth, and vitality for fish. The addition of astaxanthin and the high content of natural carotenoids from algae, crustaceans, and red peppers make the colors of the fish more intense and vivid. The active substances in garlic and spirulina support the immunity of the fish. The exceptional palatability of the food encourages the fish to feed.
Preparing the food is very easy and takes only a moment. You will need: hot water, a spoon, or a whisk. Pour hot water into the can up to the level marked on the label (75 ml) and add one sachet of powder. To obtain sinking food, mix the powder with water using a spoon or whisk until a uniform mass is obtained (usually about 30 seconds). To obtain floating food, mix it vigorously with an electric whisk for at least 2 minutes. Pour the mixture into the lid of the can or another mold (e.g., ice cube tray). Once cooled, cover the mixture with cling film and place in the refrigerator until it solidifies (approx. 2 hours). The finished food can be portioned as desired. The mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. This food has a high algae content (36%) and can be prepared in many ways. It is intended for herbivorous and omnivorous fish. The food comes in the form of jelly, which is easy and quick to prepare yourself, allowing you to choose almost any shape and size of portion, and even how it is served and whether the prepared food will float or sink, according to the nutritional needs of the animals. Thanks to the possibility of storing it in the freezer, it is a great alternative to frozen foods.
