Additional information
Gel Formula For Herbivorous Fish contains five species of algae: spirulina (Spirulina platensis), chlorella (Chlorella vulgaris), Lithothamnium calcareum, and kelp algae – Ascophyllum nodosum and Laminaria digitata. The unsaturated fatty acids, protein, vitamins, macro- and microelements (including iodine, chromium, selenium, and iron) contained in algae, as well as natural prebiotics and dietary fiber, ensure excellent condition, intensive growth, and vitality for aquarium inhabitants. The high content of carotenoid-rich spirulina intensifies the coloration of the fish. The dietary fiber from algae, oak bark meal, and chitin contained in Gel Formula For Herbivorous Fish regulate the digestive tract. The food promotes the development of healthy bacterial flora in the digestive tract.
Preparing the food is very easy and takes only a moment. You will need: hot water, a spoon, or a whisk. Pour hot water into the can up to the level marked on the label (75 ml) and add one sachet of powder. To obtain sinking food, mix the powder with water using a spoon or whisk until a uniform mass is obtained (usually about 30 seconds). To obtain floating food, mix it vigorously with an electric whisk for at least 2 minutes. Pour the mixture into the lid of the can or another mold (e.g., ice cube tray). Once cooled, cover the mixture with cling film and place in the refrigerator until it solidifies (approx. 2 hours). The finished food can be portioned as desired. The mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
