Gel Formula For Herbivorous Fish is a food with a high content of algae (36%), which can be prepared in many ways. It is dedicated to herbivorous and omnivorous fish. The food is in the form of jelly, which is easily and quickly prepared by yourself, so you can choose almost any shape and size of portions, and even the way of serving and whether the prepared food will float or sink - according to the nutritional needs of the animals. Thanks to the possibility of storing it in the freezer, it is a great alternative to frozen food.

Dosage

Feed several times a day in small portions so that the animals eat the given portion within 2-3 minutes. Do not use powdered product for feeding.

Gel Formula For Herbivorous Fish contains five species of algae: spirulina (Spirulina platensis), chlorella (Chlorella vulgaris), Lithothamnium calcareum and the kelp algae Ascophyllum nodosum and Laminaria digitata. The unsaturated fatty acids, protein, vitamins and macro- and microelements (including iodine, chromium, selenium and iron) contained in the algae, as well as natural prebiotics and dietary fibre, ensure excellent condition, intensive growth and vitality for the aquarium inhabitants. The high content of carotenoid-rich spirulina intensifies the colouration of the fish. The algal dietary fibre, oak bark meal and chitin contained in Gel Formula For Herbivorous Fish regulate the digestive tract. The food promotes the development of normal bacterial flora in the digestive tract.

The preparation of the food is very easy and takes a while. You will need: hot water, a spoon or a whisk. Pour hot water into the can to the level indicated on the label (75 ml) and pour in one sachet of powder. To obtain a sinking food, mix the powder with the water using a spoon or whisk until smooth (usually about 30 seconds). To obtain a floating feed, stir vigorously with an electric whisk for a minimum of 2 minutes. Pour the mixture into a can lid or other mould (e.g. for ice cubes). Once cooled, wrap in cling film and place in the fridge until set (approx. 2 hours). The finished food can be portioned as desired. The mixture can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.
