PhosMAX Pro is a unique cartridge designed for chemical filtration of water in freshwater aquaria and terrarium pools. It is designed to chemically absorb dissolved phosphates in the water, which are one of the main causes of nuisance algae growth in aquariums.
The cartridge efficiently absorbs phosphates from the water. It is completely safe for fish and aquarium invertebrates as well as for plants. It works selectively by not capturing beneficial compounds such as trace elements and vitamins from the water. It does not release any toxic substances into the water.
PhosMAX Pro works perfectly as a filter bed in canister filters, overflow filters, internal filters with loose media chambers (e.g. TURBOFILTER), as well as in sumps and filter chimneys. It is especially recommended for tanks with a very large number of fish fed with meat food (e.g. large cichlids, catfish) and without plants which are natural phosphate absorbers.

The use of PhosMAX Pro makes it possible to reduce the size and frequency of water changes and effectively prevents the growth of algae in the tank.
PhosMAX Pro is gradually depleted over time. In order to maintain its effectiveness, it is recommended to replace it at least once every 4 weeks.
