AQUAEL Nitromax Pro filter cartridge 3x100ml - Product description
NitroMAX Pro is a unique cartridge designed for chemical filtration of water in freshwater aquaria, paludariums and terrarium pools. It takes the form of fleece bags filled with a specially selected ion exchange resin stabilised with a filler.
The unique ion-exchange resin used in NitroMAX Pro has excellent absorption properties. It thus absorbs toxic nitrogenous compounds dissolved in the water. It absorbs nitrite and nitrate ions from the water. It protects fish from nitrogen compounds that are harmful to them and reduces the size and frequency of water changes. Extremely effective in preventing algae growth.
NitroMAX Pro is ideal as a filter bed in canister filters, overflow filters, internal filters with loose media chambers (e.g. TURBOFILTER), as well as in sumps and filter chimneys.

Additional information
NitroMAX Pro is immediately ready for use and does not require rinsing or any other additional steps. The contents of the package should be placed in the filter basket or the filter chamber. To ensure optimum results, we recommend placing the NitroMAX Pro cartridge after the mechanical and biological filtration cartridges. NitroMAX Pro is recommended for AQUAEL filters: UNIMAX, MIDIKANI 800, MINIKANI 80, MINIKANI 120, ASAP and VERSAMAX.
One sachet provides filtration in approx. 70 l of aquarium for approx. 30 days. The way the NitroMAX Pro cartridge works (sorption) means that it gradually fills up and wears out. To maintain optimum filtration properties, it should be replaced at least every 4 weeks.
