Additional information
Less protein after teething: As all puppies have a higher protein requirement in the first weeks and months, it is recommended to feed a suitable "puppy food" until teething is complete. Only when feeding special puppy food is there a need to change to Junior food, because only then does the protein demand decrease.
When the dog approaches the appropriate weight, the protein requirement decreases and the amount of food should be adjusted accordingly.
Weigh puppies and young dogs regularly and document weight gain. It may be necessary to adjust the amount of food for individual puppies, young dogs. Do not give too much food - make sure the growth is not above average. If you give snacks, reduce the amount of food accordingly. Tip: use part of the daily ration as a substitute for snacks. Give the food dry or add warm water (about 60°C) and leave until the food is submerged. Divide the daily portion of food into several meals (2 - 3). Fresh water should always be available.
*dried.
** When the dog's final weight is reached, slowly move on to the appropriate Adult food.
