- A product for dogs and cats that helps reduce the formation of calcium oxalate stones. Pack of 120 tablets.
VETFOOD Uroforce Plus 120 tablets - Product Description
The capsules support proper nutrition in dogs and cats prone to developing oxalate stones in the urinary tract, prevent urinary tract infections, and are used in cases requiring urine alkalization. Potassium citrate administered orally binds calcium and forms water-soluble calcium citrate. In addition, mild alkalization of urine occurs, which promotes the solubility of calcium oxalates.

Additional information
The potassium and magnesium citrates contained in the product act as inhibitors of the crystallization process and the formation of oxalate stones. Another active ingredient in the preparation is vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), a deficiency of which in the body leads to increased endogenous production of oxalic acid. The vitamin B6 contained in the product counteracts any deficiency of this vitamin and prevents oxalate stones.
Recommended duration of use: up to 6 months
If necessary, you can open the capsule and mix its contents with your pet's favorite treat. If your pet's diet consists only of dry food, moisten it slightly so that the contents of the capsule stick to the food and are consumed by the animal. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use.
