Lespewet for dogs helps with urinary tract diseases. Its extraordinary effectiveness is due to the ingredient Lespedeza capitata (lespedeca capitate). This compound belongs to the group of flavonolones, which dilate the blood vessels in the kidneys. This increases blood flow through the kidneys and enhances diuresis (urine excretion). As a result, Lespewet reduces the concentration of toxic substances in the blood, which are eliminated in the urine. The diuretic effect of Lespewet does not alter the body's ion balance, does not increase blood pressure, and does not block liver detoxification. The spasmolytic effect of kaempferol is also observed in the smooth muscle of the bile ducts.
